THE PROCLAMATION OF 1763

Cause:
The Colonists wanted to spread out and settle west. But the Natives didn't want the Colonists to be on their land. So they killed some of the Colonists.

As a result:
The British wanted to keep the Colonists safe and alive. So the British created a law called the Proclamation of 1763, which stated, the Natives could have all the land west of the Appalachian Mountains.
