THE FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM

The first pillar of Islam.
"Shahaden"

"There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet."

That means that all Muslims must worship Allah as the one and only god of the Islamic religion.

Second Pillar of Islam
"Salah"

"Pray five times a day; at morning, noon, midday, early evening, and nightfall."

Also you must do a ritual cleaning before every prayer.

The Third Pillar of Islam
"Zakah"

"Give a portion of your money to the poor and needy."

That means that if you see someone in need, you should give to the poor and needy.

The Forth Pillar of Islam
"Sawn"

"You must fast during the holy month of Ramadan."

It means that you can't eat in the daylight. When night falls, you may eat. Also remember that Muslims can't eat pork it drink alcohol.

The Fifth Pillar of Islam
"Hajj"

"Must travel to Mecca once in your life."

Unless you are sick, poor, or on your menstrual cycle (women only).
