WHAT IS "GOD"?

"A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe."

WHAT KIND OF EVIDENCE IS THERE?

  • Direct Evidence/Circumstantial-Testimony, logic, biblical, or scientific
  • Eye witness-Someone who experienced, seen or felt the existence of God.
  • Testimony from Experts/Authority-Priests, theologians, philosophers, scientists
  • Historical facts-Instances of God's existence in the world or universe

GATHERED EVIDENCE

  • Direct:" We love one another becuase God loved us first, belief in love is belief in God."
  • This shows why we love one another. Love is a supernatural term and belief in it is belief in god.

EYE WITNESS

  • There have been thousands of witness of miracles across the world like "Mary's tear".
  • Miracles are defined as divine intervention and show intervention from a superior
  • thing or being. It shows that something supernatural must have occurred and made intervention.

TESTIMONY

  • "The truth and love that God offers is universal for all people, not reducible to relativism.
  • It is also a truth and love that contains the mysteries beyond the universe as well, and is therefore beyond the
  • universe as well, and is therefore beyond the measurability scales of scientism. The key, therefore, to the
  • right way of knowing truth is through God. This is born of an encounter with this loving God, and faith in
  • this God. As we have seen earlier in the encyclical, faith gives us "new eyes" to see and experience reality."

HISTORICAL FACTS

  • "To the west, Egyptian, Sumarian, Babylonian and other civilizations have extensive and intricate
  • links between nature and the divine."
  • -This historical quote shows that even most of the ancient civilizations believed in a similar "God".

CONCLUSION

  • Based on these points, my position stands that a God does exist.
  • I found proof through my analysis based on my various evidence gathered.
  • All points put together point to the definite proof of existence of a god.
