GERMAN PEASANTS REVOLT

  • The german peasants war, or revolt, took place in 1524-25.
  • It mainly took place in southern Germany, but also in Tyrol, Aslace, and Lorraine.

JOHN CALVIN

  • Calvin was born on July 10 1509 in Noyon, Picardy
  • He died May 27 1564 in Geneva, Switzerland
  • He was a successor to Martin Luther as the preeminent protestant theologian.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Calvin was a leader Protestant reformation
  • He led the way for all non-catholic christian religions.
  • Calvin also helped break the Protestant religion

HULDRYCH ZWINGLI

  • Zwingli was born on January 1, 1484, in Switzerland
  • He died october 11, 1531, near Kappel
  • He is the most important reformer in theSwiss Protestant Reformation

ANABAPTIST

  • An anabaptist is someone being rebaptized
  • The anabaptist movement began in 1525
