Niccolo Machiavelli was born on May 3rd, 1469. You may know him as "the father of modern political theory." Machiavelli was jailed and tortured for organizing a Florence militia against the return of the Medici family. During this dark period of his life Niccolo had the chance to write a book on politics called "The Prince." Niccolo Machiavelli died in Florence Italy on June, 21 1527

William Shakespeare was born on April 26, 1564 near London, England. He married a woman named Anne and they had kids there was little known about his life people call these years the "lost years." William was apart of an acting company called Lord Chamberlain's Men, while with them he acted in plays like Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare also became famous from his poetry one of his famous poems was Venus and Adonis. He died at the age of 52.

Johannes was born in Mainz, Germany around the year 1398. He was the son of a Goldsmith, not a whole lot more is known about his childhood. You may know him from his most important inventions the printing press. The printing press was used to print books such as the bible which helped society's literacy.

Art and Architecture: Michelangelo

Born on March 6, 1475 in Caprese, Italy. While young he moved to Florence, Italy. When a boy he didn't enjoy school, but loved art. You may know him from his art he had many sculptures and paintings such as the pieta and the Sistine chapel. He was also an architect. So in conclusion he was a talented man.
