WHO WAS STALIN?

• Born in gori Georgia December 18, 1878. STALIN had a very abusive dad along with a strong Christian mother. He went to many priest schools ,but dropped out: at a seminary that he had earned a new scholarship to,In nearby tbli. Including a Georgian Orthodox Church .
• Stalin had a real name : isosf vissarionovich djugashvili.
• His death was in Moscow Russia, march 5th ,1953,age 74 by a heart attack.

WHAT TRADEMARK THINGS DID STALIN DO IN HIS WAKE

• Severe famine was caused to the Russians,a aggressive, strict rules was enforced.
• He focused mainly on steel along with a forced agricultural way. Resulting in powerful steel products they were modern at its time.
• Ruled by terror, many killed and executed. Enemy's sent to gulags (brutal labor camps) to die by starvation or by work.

WHEN DID HE RISE TO POWER

• Lenin assigned STALIN in the central committee of the bolsheviks (1912) 1917 power was gained in Russia,later the Soviet Union was created in 1922.
• Lenin as leader, STALIN began to rise in the soviet ranks. 1924 Lenin died appointing STALIN.

WHILE IN POWER, DID OTHER COUNTRIES GET INVADED

• all of Russia was controlled . Then parts of Poland was annexed. even the three Baltic states : Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Sadly a brutal invasion of Finland.

WHY DID STALIN WANT POWER

• STALIN wanted POWER due to having a brutal way of thinking. Excluding being at a few priest schools.
• Wanted to modernize/industrialize Russia .
• Had a plan to dominate others

THE LONG STORY OF HOW STALIN ROSE TO POWER

• In 1917 Lenin was exiled in Switzerland, STALIN was appointed In the committee of the bolshevik party.
• November 1917, POWER was gained by the party, 1922 resulting in the Soviet Union was officially founded.
• Over a course of a few years , STALIN was rising in the ranks . Becoming central committee of the party.
• This is a very controlling role in the party, 1924 lenin died.
