Flappers were the alter ego of the typical American housewife. Flappers hems were shorter, they
chopped their hair off, and attended parties which a housewife would never do.
Prohibition started with the ratification of the 18th Amendment with the ban of transportation and manufacturing of alcohol. This started the creation "speakeasies" where alcohol would be served illegally.
KDKA was the first commercial broadcasting radio station where it grew out of Pittsburgh,PA.
