SUMMARY

  • Jason Everman has a fairly interesting trait of being the guy who was kicked out of two popular bands which are Nirvana and Soundgarden. The popular two rock bands that would sell a close estimate of about 100 million records all together. At the age of 26 Jason was known as Pete Best, the popular guy Beatles walked away from. Thinking again, he wasn't all that of a rock and roll type of guy as he seemed to be. What Everman did after placed him beyond outside the category of rock’n’roll footnote. Jason later ended up becoming an elite member of the U.S. Army Special Forces as most of us know a bearded guys riding around on horseback in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban.

"In punk there's an extreme kind of conformity to all the non-conformity"

In my understanding this quote means that there is rules and standards to follow and that is to be unique.
