The Rose Plant

Habitat

• Roses can be found almost anywhere in the world
• Roses prefer temperate climates 
• A place with warm summers
• And a place with cold winters

WHAT KINGDOM AND WHY?

• The rose plant belongs in Kingdom Plantae
• The rose plant makes their food in a way called photosynthesis
• Their cell walls are strong because of the material it is built by
• This material is called cellulose
• The plant does NOT move, unless when it is growing

Food

• Basically, to live , it will consume:
• Water
• Sunlight
• Wild flower: will usually get fertalized

APPEARANCE

• Many different colours:
• Red,yellow,pink, white and lavendar
• There are spiky thorns on the stem
• A rich scent on the petals

REPRODUCTION

• Almost ALL roses start as little seeds
• The parts of the rose that make seeds, turn into more petals
• After the rose dies, they drop their seeds and then those start to grow

ADAPTATION

• Thorns :
• Prevents the plant eater to eat the plant
• Also discourages them from eating it
• Hardiness: Is capable of living even if it gets trampled on
• Because of that, it can still continue to grow without problems

HOW THE ROSE REFLECTS GOD

• Can still make something so small to survive by itself
• E.g. : even when it gets stepped on, it can still survive (WOW!)
• The colours show the feelings and creativity
