• Ex: call from another phone or iphone tracer

Make a hypothesis
He lost his phone and he just remembered that he was using it for a definition for class

Test the hypothesis
He tested the hypothesis and it worked they found the phone

Make a conclusion
He's conclusion was that they asked the teacher for a left phone on the desk she said she got it and has it in her desk
