PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MATTHEW 6:1-4; MATTHEW 6:16-18

The message in this reading challenges people to live differently, because doing something good, doesn't mean you should tell everyone, even though you want to.

Jesus says, when giving alms, "do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" (6:3)

That means that when you are giving, be more humble and not show everyone what you are doing.

The world makes this message a difficult one to live, because it's great to let people know the good you are doing, but it's better to be humble about it, the same way jesus was.
