THE SEVENTH DAY

On the Seventh Day...

• God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. (Genesis 2:2)
• God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work. (Genesis 2:2)

FIVE WAYS HUMANS HAVE DE-CREATED THIS DAY.

1.

• Some people have to go to work on Sundays instead of rest to improve the wealth of their business or to get money to support their house or their families. We are supposed to rest, though and go to church to give thanks and praise.

• People are not going to Church on Sundays. They don't want to go or have other things that conflict with it. They don't plan their schedules around church.

• People chose to participate or spectate sports events instead of setting time aside for Church.

• Many people decide to go to the mall or go shopping because for many, it is more exciting for younger people instead of sitting and listening in Church. It is a habit that needs to be stopped

• Unfortunatly, some people chose not to rest on Sunday and go to church because they feel that they don't believe in that. It is the last day of the weekend before work, so why not go do something fun instead of "wasting" time in church?
