In the 1760s, the colonies were still under the British rule. They were angry at how unfair they were treated by their ruler.

The tension soon started to grow as the British passed laws such as the stamp act, tea tax, and the quartering act.

The colonists were ready to fight the British after the Boston massacre. British red coats shot colonist who were harassing them.

On one fateful day in 1775, the British army began to march toward Lexington and Concord to seize the colonists weapons as orders by the king.

In Lexington, only 60 militia men were ready to face the powerful British army, while in Concord 1,000 colonist were ready to fight for freedom.

No one knows who shot the first bullet at Lexington but we know for sure it was heard around the world.
