Were a big part of the war but didn't aid to Greenland to help the sledge patrol
fight off the Germans

Britain
Where the German naval headqaurters were located

Cold.
The conditions for the eskimones. The temps were tremendously low

Danes
People from denmark

Eskimos
People that moved into Greenland that used sled dogs for transportation and kept watch for a nazi, invasion

Food
Obviously was a big part of the sledge patrol. They needed food to keep their strength up and they got their food by hunting

Greenland
The setting where the story takes place. Very very cold and has harsh conditions all year round

Hunting
Basically what kept everyone on the sledge patrol alive. Went out every night looking for animals

Iceland
Land where all people hated the nazi's helped Greenland out

Juggernaut
The Germans had been the juggernaut of the whole war and couldn't be stopped. People were getting killed by them left and right

Keen. Even though the fighters were cold and very bitter at times, everyday they came with a new attitude and definitely showed enthusiasm.

Lookout
It was important for the sledge patrol to be on alert at all times. They had to be on the lookout for animals not just nazis

Men
Only men could be on the sledge patrol. No women allowed. Back then women weren't thought of as war type

Nazism
The German way of thinking. Lead and invented by Adolfo hitler. Caused the eskimones issues

Outnumbered
The Germans were GREATLY outnumbered by the Germans and also the Germans had machine guns and grenades and the sledge patrol onlyp had their knowledge of the outdoors and hunting rifles

Preperation
The famous Norwegian and Danish hunters of the sledge patrol always needed to prepare for the unexpected

Quality of quantity
The Germans greatly outnumbered the sledge patrol but the sledge patrol had the better war chemistry and team work

Resilience
The sledge patrol had too fight all kinds of adversity.
No matter what the weather or no matter how sick they were, they had too do their jobs

Sledge patrol
What they called the volunteers who participated in the area for safety and for their peoples well being

Training
Training was a key to the sledge patrols success. They had to keep it tip top shape in order to survive the elements and to have great endurance

Unification
Whenever the Germans attacked the sledge patrol had too stay together because the Germans atrociously out numbered the sledge patrol

Vow
The members of the sledge patrol had to vow to stay true and not turn their backs on one another

War
This story was in the time period of WWII. IT was one of the most deadly time periods in history. Over 60 million people were killed

Young.
The sledge patrol members were young and brave. Had no fear
