THE SUN

  • The sun is 150 million km from earth
  • The sun is middle aged medium-sized yellow star 4.6 billion years old
  • Their are 4 main layers 3 layers are make up the atmosphere of the sun
  • 1)corona outermost layer 2)chromosphere middle layer
  • 3)photosphere innermost layer often called the surface of the sun

COMETS

  • Comets are made up of ice, and dust.
  • There are bits of gas pushing the comet.
  • Comets are classified as sungazers.
  • A comet also has a nucleus.
  • Comets have tails that are blue and yellow.

TELESCOPES

  • Telescopes let us look farther in space
  • The Hubble telescope is in space that take images of deep space
  • There are tools that let telescopes look farther in space
  • One of the tools are stis it provides a wavelength they call it a " fingerprint "
  • Another tool is a COS it focus exclusively on ultra violet light
