George W. Bush
I don't really know a lot about George W. Bush, but what I found out is that his dad also ran as president. He was courage for dealing with the toughest presidency since Abraham Lincoln.
Monica Lewinsky
Monica Lewinsky was a former White House intern that admitted to her secret love affair with at the time president Bill Clinton.
She reminds me of the T.V show scandal because in season one a White House intern named Amanda Tanner was having an "inappropriate relationship" with the president in the show, president Fitzgerald Grant, hence the name Scandal.
Bill Clinton
He was impeached due to his two charges, perjury and obstruction of justice, but the big talk was his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
This reminds me of high school because word travels fast and once it gets back to you, you're forced to tell the truth.
Usher
Ushers a pretty sweet guy because he's a great performer and can dance and sing amazingly. He also managed the very talented and attractive Justin Bieber. He reminds of the way I wish I could dance.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber is a great dancer and singer. When I think of Justin I think of my dance coach and how her brother and Justin played on the same hockey team. I wish I was as lucky as her to meet him.
9/11
This event happened when we were young, but we learned a lot about it in school. This makes me sad because of all the people who lost their lives and who were affected by it.
NAFTA
This topic doesn't interest me because I find politics boring. Although, this benefitted our nation because it expanded our trade zones.
Columbine Shooting
This relates to bullying because that is what caused this terrible event. Two boys took the lives of innocent people and affected the whole country.
Desert Storm
This event isn't uncommon because of how many other wars there were. Although, this did bring new military technology. This reminds me of when MySpace came out, it brought a new aspect to social media.
Hubble Space Telescope
This is cool because we can take new pictures of the planet and see what else is in the solar system. I always thought astronomy was an interesting topic.
Oklahoma City Bombing
This enhanced the security in our world. This is like 9/11 because it was tragic and many people lost their lives.
Movies/TV/Music
When I think of TV and movies, I think of Netflix. It is very popular for watching movies and TV shows.
Britney Spears Breakdown
Britney Spears had a hard time in 2007, but it got better and she's stable now. This reminds me of a roller coaster because the first hill is the biggest and after that the hills aren't so big.
Internet
It started off with a dial tone that took minutes to load, and now it takes seconds to load whatever you want. You can basically do anything on the Internet.
Hurricane Katrina
This hurricane caused very severe damage, killing and affecting the lives of many people. This reminds me of the movie "Twister", although it's not a tornado it still caused a lot of damage just like in the movie it shows that.
