• Technology now makes it much easier

TO BECOME AN ASTRONOMER

• Requires a lot of commitment
• Most of them are well-educated
• Ph.D
• You will need good study skills
• But consider moving from where you live

You cannot perform experiments directly, but you can only observe what comes from the earth.

Not many jobs available but there are jobs in National Observatories, National Laboratories, or in private industry.

The astronomers only pay attention to these main things....

planetary science, solar astronomy, the origin or evolution of stars, or the formation of galaxies.
