The Ten Commandments

The First Commandment

• You shall have no other gods.
• This means that we are to not love or preach any other person/object but the LORD.

The Second Commandment

• Honor your father and mother.
• This means we should obey, love, respect, and serve our parents.

The Fifth Commandment

• You shall not murder.
• You shall not kill or put your neighbor in danger, but support them for whatever the need.

The Seventh Commandment

• You shall not steal.
• You shall not take our neighbors belongings for ourselves, but help them to improve their standard of living.

The Eighth Commandment

• You shall not bear false witness against our neighbors.
• This means we shall not tell lies about our neighbors or destroy their reputations, but come to their defense in court.

The Tenth Commandment

• We shall not be jealous of our neighbors belonings.
• This means we shall not steal from our neighbors, but encourage them to fulfill their responsibilities to our neighbors.
