THE THREE WAYS TO ACCELERATE
Acceleration is the rate at which velocity changes.
In other words speeding up.
In ways of: Increasing, decreasing, and changing direction.

INCREASING Speed
Whenever a object speeds up, it accelerates.
This car is accelerating down a street and looks like its increasing speed.
3.
DECREASING SPEED
All objects can speed up, and can also slow down, or stop.
This train is slowing to a stop, while pulling into the station, to pick up passongers.
4.
Changing Direction
Almost all objects can change their direction, even at a constant speed.
This Ferris wheel may be going in a circle, but its still changing direction.
