THE TOP THREE REASONS ROME FELL

REASON 1 - ECONOMY

• One of the main reasons Rome fell is because they ran out of money
• They couldnt pay for the wars and the barbarian troops
• Without money for wars and troops Rome couldnt defend their large empire
• Without defense the empire was under attack often by tribes.

REASON 2 - THE PLAGUE

• The plague led to the fall of Rome because it killed many citizens
• With the loss of thousands of people there arent enough laborers
• The empire lost laborers in farming, trading, building and even the army
• With these losses Rome wasnt able to maintain the wealth and the inside of the empire

REASON 3 - OVEREXPANSION

• The main reason why Rome fell is because of overexpansion
• Rome didnt have the resources later on to maintain the vast empire
• They werent able to repair damages because of how big the empire was
• People began to separate because the empire wasnt as unified anymore
• With separation in the empire it led to many problems within the empire
