The 1911 triangle factory fire dwells in the memory of the United States (the 1911 triangle factory fire). There is still people working in sweat shops to this day, but with different working conditions and pay.

EFFECTS FROM THIS FIRE ON THE PEOPLE

  • They wanted safer working conditions
  • Better fire safety in buildings
  • New groups were formed. (Ex: international ladies garmet
  • Workers) they fought for better and safer working conditions
  • To improve unsafe working conditions.

EFFECTS ON FIRE LAWS

  • Every work owner has to pay minimum wage or more
  • Made improvements on fire truck latters
  • Fire escapes put in buildings
  • New laws saying doors shouldn't be locked

The triangle shirtwaist still dwells in U.S memory even if it happened more than one hundred years ago.
