  • There are two verisons students can either do with a paper and a pencil or it can be web based.

How to Handle ELL

  • There are two versions of the WISC IV available in English and in Spainish, but someone must be a dual langague certified school psyhcolgist to adminster the WISC IV in Spainish or English depending on the Primary langage of the student.

Opinions

  • The WISC IV is a sound measure based in evidence, predictive of academic success.
  • Limitation of the test, no creativity, it is a one time measurement.
  • Does not look at a child as a whole.
