History
Greece was said to be founded thousands of years ago.After its finding two kingdoms sprung up leading to a period of wars and invasions known as the dark ages.Also the Olympics were founded in Greece around 700B.C. to honor Zues.

Economy
Greece has an okay economy with a GDP of $249.1 billion.And a GDP per capita of $18,578.1. Making that by exporting food, drinks, textiles, chemicals, petroleum, and manufactured goods.Poverty level at 45%.And unemployment rate of 28%.

Government
Greece has a unitary parliamentary rebublic government with their president Karolos Popoulias (he's in the background.)

Education
97.3% of all 15 and older people can read and write.Just like anywhere else school is free in Greece except for the private schools.You also have to pay for college if its not community college.

Geography
Greece has over 2000 island and about 170 are inhabited. the highest peak in Greece is Mt. Olympus (9570 ft.)
Greece is a peninsula bordered by 3 seas Aegean,Lonian,and Mediterranean seas.Its also bordered be 3 countries Bulgaria,Macedonia,and Albania.

Religion
Greek Orthodoxy is the most followed indigenous religion. Christianity is the most followed religion of all.

Architecture in Greece was dominated by religion.Now the architecture is almost the same by using pillars on their buildings. Greece art is known for vases,sculptures,and paintings such as the discus thrower.
