The abuse of science, by those who disregard all moral and ethical laws, can ultimately lead to regret and destruction of individuals and the balance between science and nature.
Frankenstein
brought the dead to life
In Frankenstein, Victor went against the laws of nature by bring the dead to life. The creation of the monster resulted in the death of Victor and his family and friends.
Jurassic Park
brought back extinct dinosaurs
In Jurassic Park, scientists used ancient DNA to bring back extinct dinosaurs. This abuse of science disrupted the balance of nature, which also resulted in several deaths.
Moral dilemma
interfering with death
Although there is a natural way of dying, euthanasia allows one to cheat death and in a way play God. This abuse of science gives doctors too much power, allowing them to kill patients rather save them.
