  • Married Joseph Alston on February 2, 1801, in Albany
  • Joseph Alston later became governor of South Carolina

  • Name: Aaron Burr Alston
  • Nickname: Gampy
  • Gampy died of malaria in 1882 in South Carolina ( bite of mosquito that is infected )
