Maria Montessori

• 1870-1952
• She believed that the curriculum should be based of the child’s interests.
• Now there are many Montessori schools. All which are based of her beliefs.

This helped the children in many ways it gave them free or reduced lunch, The schools also used fund to provide additional academic support, and learning opportunities so the less fortunate kids can master what they have problems with in school.

• They focused on improving learning and development programs for young children, that’s less fortunate or disabled.
