There are many ways to prevent pregnancy such as the pill. There is birth control for male and for female.
Vaginal ring
The vaginal ring is a type of contraception that works in a similar way to the oral contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy. A soft, flexible ring is worn inside the vagina.It slowly releases synthetic forms of the natural hormones estrogen and progesterone.

is birth control pills, also known as the pill. Combination birth control pills suppress ovulation keeping your ovaries from releasing an egg.

Diaphragm
is a rubber and its also shaped like a dome, a diaphragm prevents sperm from fertilizing an egg. It covers the cervix and must always be used with a spermicide
IUD
is ParaGard is a surgically implanted copper device that prevents sperm from reaching the egg.Works by releasing hormones. Intrauterine devices are more than 99% effective.
Female condom
is made of polyurethane, or soft plastic, and protects against STDs. It is inserted deep into the vagina, over the cervix, much like a diaphragm.
Male condom
is Male condoms protect against pregnancy and STDs, including HIV. Worn properly, condoms prevent sperm from entering the uterus
All of these methods are very effective for not getting pregnant. Some more than others but using something is better than nothing.
