PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Once upon a time there was a prince named Theseus. He hated King Minos's pet the Minotaur. King Minos sent his navy to the Athens village. The king of Athens made a deal that if the king didn't attack his village he would give the king seven girls and seven boys.
He would feed the children to his horrible pet the Minotaur. King Minos took the deal. The Minotaur lived in the middle of a maze on the king's island.
Prince Theseus knew he needed to keep the king's word. But he also knew it was wrong to send children away to be eaten. Prince Theseus told his father he was going to go to king Minos island as the 7th son of Athens.
He was going to go kill the Minotaur. Theseus's father didn't think he could do it.
Theseus went to the island as one of the seven boys. Theseus met King Minos's daughter and she made him promise that if she helped him kill the Minotaur he would take away from the island. Princess Ariadene gave a sword and a ball of string to Theseus.
The sword was for killing the Minotaur and the string was to leave a Trail so he and the kids could get out. The next day theseus and the kids entered the maze while the kids stayed behind Theseus talk the sword and killed the Minotaur.
Theseus took the children and Princess Ariadene to his ship. On the way home they stopped in a village and the the princess fell asleep. Theseus and the children got onto the boat and left the princess there
After Theseus killed the Minotaur he started going on dangerous adventures by himself. He ended up dieing even though he was a great hero he shouldn't have been so reckless.
