WHY DID PIONEERS GO WEST BY JAMES

  • The pioneers wanted to go west because they wanted to be free
  • They also wanted to get free land and they wanted to get gold
  • Pioneers also wanted to find big forests, rivers and streams

  • It was sickness
  • Rain was bad
  • Mud made you stuck
  • Dust was bad
  • Disease were bad
  • Bad Indians
  • Mountains

DANGERS AND DIFFICULITIES NICOLE

  • The biggest problem pioneers had was mud the wagon train would get stuck and it was hard to get it out.
  • On other problem was dust it would get in your eyes and you would not be able to see and your oxen or horse would not be able to see either.
  • A third problem was that people got sick so much sometimes pioneers ran out of medicine.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE ON THE TRIP WEST IN A COVERED WAGON BY DELILAH

  • There's dangerous stuff like difficulty and issues they have to deal with
  • You also get to right in your diary when you stop for a break
  • There was also a lot of chores along the way
  • I think it is fun but hard because a lot die from sicknesses
  • Yep I think it's a little fun
