Cyrus Field
Cyrus Field was an American businessman and financier was had a bright idea to place a telegraph cable across the Atlantic ocean in 1866 making communication between the United States and Europe to make communication easier. This changed peoples lives by communicating with farmers and getting crops and made it easier for messages to b sent rather than horse back riding

Alexander Grahm

Schottish immigrant
In 1874 Grahm began to experiment with the way sound traveled so he invented the telephone easier for communication. This was easy because you were able to make long distance phone calls. Grahm was a vary important person communication was easier and you could talk over the world.

Edison Company

In 1882 an Edison Company started supplying electric to new York city making electricity a lot easier and faster. 4 years later Josephine Cohrane developed the dishwasher. So people could wash dishes instead of hand washing and made time for important tasks

George Westinghouse

George invented an air-brake for railroads and also an AC unit to distribute their source of electricity to places where it was needed. Westinghouse Electric was the first to use hydroelectric power. If it wasn't for him today we wouldn't have dams to produce electricity and clear out systems.
