Overview

  • He was the constructor of the locomotive but did not come up with the idea!
  • He was the frist one to ride the locomotive.
  • He also invented the light bulb.

Pros

  • It's a great way of traveling.
  • Good for transporting items.
  • Good for transporting humans to long distances.
  • It can use coal which may be a domestic resource when oil is not.
  • It can attract tourists who want the experience of riding a locomotive.

Cons

  • Bad for the transportation of drugs.
  • Bad they pollute with large amounts of steam.
  • The power and speed of steam engines is limited.
  • They are difficult and expensive to maintain.
  • They are slower than modern diesel or electric trains.
