• Water height- 525 ft.
• 600 ft. high
• 1.3 miles wide

HUMAN IMPACT

• Brings many people to China to see it
• Population in the area has gone down
• 1.3- 1.9 million people were forced to moved
• 13 cities, 140 towns, 1350 villages were flooded

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

• Reduced flooding downstrean= less fertile land
• Erosion causes landslides
• Threatening one of the world's largest fisheries
• Witholding of downstream water leads to droughts

FUN FACTS

• Largest hydroelectric dam in the world
• It is a gravity dam

OPINION :
We don't really like the Three Gorges Dam because it caused many people to move away. But we do like how it gives power to China.
