To be classified as a severe thunderstorm, there could be flash flooding, fires, hail, and high wind speeds

Lightning can hurt a person by causing internal burns, organ damage, a damaged nervous system along with some other injuries

  • There are about 1,800 thunderstorms everyday
  • There are 16 million thunderstorms a day
  • The worst thunderstorm area in the world is Kampala, Uganda
