2.
Why do we have tides?
We have tides because of the sun and the moon!
They create a gravitational pull which makes tides on Earth.
Gravity is the source of our tides, distance and mass are the two forces that effect this force.
Earth's rotation effects tides because, were the earth is, will put into play where the tides will be high and low.
Tides occur twice a day, one high tide and one low tide!

Spring tides
4.
What occurs when we have a spring tide?
I know what you're thinking! A spring tide occurs in spring but that my friend is not the answer!
In order for a spring tide to occur, the moon has to be at full moon or new moon, so a spring tide happens twice a month.
A spring tide is when the Earth, Sun, and Moon are all in a line.
A spring tide rises higher and falls lower than the average everyday tide.

neap tides
6.
what occurs when we have a neap tide?
A neap tide is when the sun and the moon are at right angles to each other.
Neap tides only happen during the quarter moons.
They are relatively weak tides because they are being pulled from two different directions.
