The tiger quoll is a native animal to Australia in the southern east area. Tiger quoll also go by native cat and spotted tail quoll. They are omnivore but prefer meat. The anatomy the tiger quoll
The quoll is estimated to be 2 feet long including the tail. It is also about 3 pounds. The tail has white spots and it's body has white spots. They have very small claws. 18 are born only 6 live the next day they are marsupials.

The tiger quolls habitat
The tiger quoll prefer to live in forest,rainforest and open woodland. The tiger quolls live in burrows and logs and other protected shelters. The tiger quoll also is a solitary nocturnal creatures. The quolls live In the southeastern half of Australia. Do to the number of prey they chose to live in the area they are in. Since the Loss of habitat they are forced to move to different areas. Tiger quolls population
Do to the loss of habitat the tiger quoll population is dropping. Many species like the fox and other species cause the quoll to struggle for food. Also because of the habitat loss the quoll loses food. Since the lose of numbers the quoll become much more rare. The scientist now try to breed the species in captivity to increase the population. The Tiger quolls diet
All quolls are carnivore and scavenger. The quolls eat a wide variety of animals and plants. The quoll is a nocturnal hunter and when no food is around they scavenge or eat fruit. The quoll eats birds asleep in the trees small rats,lizards,frogs,insects,mice and etc. sadly the quoll also eats cane toads which are deadly to the quolls. T.answers.com
