Pickle Jar Theory

According to the article written by Jeremy Wright:
It's an analogy that states that if you fill a pickle jar with rocks (simbolizing Major Responsibilites), pebbles (Hobbies), sand (Daily activities) and water (Distractions).

You need to place them appropiately and prioritize what's important and what isn't.

Multiple Intelligences (Howard Gardner):

Verbal-linguistic: List Taking revolves around the idea of putting all relevant information about one’s personal and professional life in one place
Visual-Spatial: Have a physical schedule with different colors, assigned to a specific task.

Multiple Intelligences (Howard Gardner):

Logical-Mathematical: Think of your day in terms of time, not in tasks. Devote time to important tasks every day. But you can get into a routine.

Interpersonal: when faced with a decision or an impulse to diverge from your schedule, take a moment to think. Remember what’s most important to you
Intrapersonal: Only schedule tasks that you WILL do. Be realistic and not idealistic.

Learning Styles:

Visual: Use colors or symbols to prioritize jobs when writing them down on an agenda or planner. For example, use red to mark very important tasks, pink for not so important ones, etc.

Auditory: Read out loud what you have to do so you are aware of how much time to dedicate to each task.

Learning Styles:

Kinesthetic: Create a habit. It takes 21 days for your brain to create a new habit and get used to it.

Tactile: Have an agenda and write down the specific time you will dedicate to an activity; a schedule.
