SAVING WATER

As of right now California is currently in a drought . Although I'am just a kid I have ideas that just might help defeat the drought right now. As far as I know I have three ideas that helped me and my family members save water.

When you take a shower remember these steps. Step one rinse your self. Step two turn the shower off and clean your body. Step three rinse the soap off. This saves the water wasted when you are just standing in the shower.

People always worry about what their lawn looks like. My opinion is who cares people use over twenty gallons of water to water the lawn every day there are over one hundred thousand people in California. Everyone uses twenty gallons of water. That's a lot of water just wasted to see your lawn look all pretty.

My last idea is to not leave the water in your sink running. On the next page I will show you a percentage of kids who leave or turn off the sink the red are the kids who leave it on, and the blue are the ones who turn it off.
