A Fascinating Place
ABOUT TITAN
- Titan is a moon of Saturn
- In fact it's saturn's biggest moon and is the only one to have a thick atmosphere
- Titan is 2,576km large
ABOUT TITAN
- One thing that is amazing about Titan is its ability to have liquid on its surface
- Besides earth it's the only other body to have a sustained amount of liquid on its surface
ABOUT TITAN
- Although the liquid isn't water its far too cold for liquid water to exist there
- It's actually liquid methane
- Which would make you think life is impossible to exist on Titan, but you'd be wrong
POSSIBLE LIFE ON TITAN
HOW IT COULD EXIST
LIFE ON TITAN
- First off the liquid methane would work the same as water does on earth
- It would allow chemicals to float around and allow the formation of more complicated compounds
LIFE ON TITAN
- Liquid methane would replace water in a cell on Titan and it would work very similarly to life on earth
LIFE ON TITAN
- With Titans thick atmosphere and abundant liquid it's very possible to have life there
