PRESENTATION OUTLINE

HOT AIR VS COLD AIR

HYPOTHESIS

  • We are going to test if hot air is better than cold air to push a sailboat

WHAT DID WE ASK OUR SELF

  • Which could blow furthest the cold air or the warm air

Untitled Slide

HOW WE CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA

  • We asked ourselves where we would rather get lost at sea in a tropical climate or cold climate.

SAFETY

  • When we where doing our project we made sure that no one was walking or messing around us.

PREDICTION

  • My prediction was that the cold air was going to send the little car the furthest.

RESULTS OF THE WARM AIR

  • 146 cm
  • 217 cm
  • 116 cm
  • 192 cm
  • 106 cm
  • 209 cm
  • 195 cm
  • 135 cm
  • And the average is 164.5 cm

RESULTS OF THE COLD AIR

  • 92 cm
  • 74 cm
  • 77 cm
  • 163 cm
  • 228 cm
  • 175 cm
  • 169 cm
  • 153 cm
  • And the average is 141.375 cm

PROCEDURE

  • We got a toy car and made a little piece of paper on top of the car and made the car move with a hairdryer.
