OCD is a common disease that stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is uncontrollable and doesn't have a cure. You can help with treatment. Most of the time OCD can be diagnosed if you have a fear of germs or need things to be in a perfect order. OCD starts at any age. OCD is assumed that it is a 'neat freak disease'. It's not all about cleanliness. OCD can mean a lot of things. Most of the time tough, it is related to disturbing thoughts, anxiety, or discomfort.

OCD is defined as 'religious depression' in Robert Burton's book, The Anatomy of Melancholy.
