TNT was invented in 1863, just four years before dynamite, by German chemist Joseph Wilbrand.
TNT's original purpose was to be a yellow dye, not as an explosive
4.
TNT vs. DYNAMITE
Dynamite is a white powder found in the sticks (Dynamite sticks)
TNT is a yellow crystal (Usually found in landmines)
Both are very explosive but dynamite is more reactive while TNT is more stable.

TNT CRYSTAL
6.
Reactivity
TNT: Stable (Needs a little bit more pressure *Like how its used in landmines)
Dynamite: Extremely reactive (Can blow up easily with a spark)
*THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING
Everybody in the media might portray dynamite as TNT but they're different.
