What will you 'be' this year?
Seventh grade can be an exhilarating, but sometimes frustrating year.

However, your attitude towards school, your peers, and your teacher can make a big difference in how successful you will be.

One thing that can help you 'be all that you can be' is having a positive attitude towards learning.

I want you to think about what you need to 'be' this year in order to have a successful year. It can involve your attitude or a change of a habit that may be holding you back.
THEN TAKE AN INDEX CARD
1. Write your name in the bottom right corner.
2. At the top of the card, write what you need to do to 'be your best' this year.
3. Make sure that your statement is written in a complete sentence.

In the blank space on the card, draw a picture or symbol that will help show what your statement means.

When you finish, look at the agenda on the board and begin your next assignment. Mrs. Smith will let you know when to pass in the card.
