TONGUE TWISTER

  • The tongue is made up of three muscles.
  • The front part of the tongue is very flexible and used for speaking
  • The second part is used for making K and hard G sounds.
  • The last part of the tongue is used to swallowing food

TONGUE HELD DOWN TIGHT

  • Your tongue is attached to the bottom of your mouth
  • Without the frenulum you would swallow your tongue

TASTY TIDBITS

  • The top of your tongue is covered in papillae
  • The papillae are your taste buds
  • They help you grip food in your mouth and move it around

TRAVELING TASTE

  • Your taste buds had little hairs that send messages to your brain.
  • When you accidentally drink something bad they will send
  • signals to the brain telling you the milk is bad

FRIEND OF THE TONGUE

  • The tongue has help from the nose when it taste food
  • A tongue needs saliva or else you can't taste any food.

FIGHT GERMS

  • The tongue helps you from getting sick
  • The lingual tonsil filters cells.

THE TONGUE IS ONE TOUGH WORKER

  • The tongue never rest
  • When you sleep it is always swallowing saliva.
