What Products and Companies?
Manufacturing is a major thing that is traded with China. Throughout the US there are many companies that focus on manufacturing. The trade with China has helped supply more jobs for people in the US, and it also gives equipment to China that they originally would not have had.

WHAT IS BEING TRADED?

• Machinery, vehicles, and aircraft
• Toys, sports equipment, furniture, and bedding
• Seeds, fruits, vegetables, juices, snacks, and spices
• Footwear and hides and skin

Export versus import

Trade has brought change to both the United States because we would not have as easy access to the things we do have access to. For example if trade in China were to cease then the price for orange juice and coffee would dramatically increase. Cars would be a luxury reserved for the rich. Having the ability to trade with China allows us to have things we would not originally have had. Before trade the prices of things in both countries would have been more. When trade was allowed the amount of the products increased therefore lowering the prices.
