TRI-STATE

TORNADO

On March 18, 1925 a tornado touched down , in the town of Ellington, Missouri.

With cold air coming from the North and warm air from the South , the air meets at Missouri and creates a thunderstorm.
On certain storms can produce tornados , but scientists haven't figured out why some do and others don't.

On the way the tornado covered 219 miles of destruction. The storm lasted three hours and crossed three states in the short amount of time.
