TRIASSIC FUN FACTS

• It started 248million to 200 million years ago.
• Just before the triassic the earth faced a mass extinction.
• The only land form was Pangaea
• There was no polar ice caps
• Pangaea was mostly desert

Major changes
In the beginning of the Triassic the only landform was Pangaea. Then it started to split up.

EXTINCTIONS

• 95% extinct marine genera were wiped out
