PRESENTATION OUTLINE
TROPICAL RAINFOREST BIOME
TEMPERATURE
Temperatures in the tropical rainforest range from 68-93°F (20-34°C). The climate is mainly tropical and moist throughout the year due to the fact that this biome is the closest to the equator. Humidity levels vary from 77-88% and forms from the sun warming the terrain and sea, causing water evaporation in the air (humidity).
RAINFALL
On average, there is more than 100 inches of precipitation annually. The soil type of this biome lacks nutrients and is not suited for agriculture.
LOCATION
This biome is mainly located near the equator, where tropical weather is experienced. It is described as humid, wet and thick with trees.
