Love trees? Well even if you don't, the rainforest will make you fall in love with them. You can find many types of trees like rubber and banana trees. Not only that, but they're HUGE. The trees can reach over 150 feet tall. Another amazing thing about them is what you can find living within the trees. You can find millions of exotic species sheltering in and outside of the them. You can find animals like orangutans, howler monkeys, Iguanas, sloths, and so much more! You can observe hundreds of species of monkeys, frogs, birds, insects, reptiles, other mammals, felines, etc.

Tropical rainforests are known for their trees. Everywhere you look - trees. Not only that, but more than 25% of our medicine comes from the rainforest. And we've only tested about 10% of species of plants there.

Everywhere you turn is another species. Who knows? You might even wake up to a monkey stealing some food. There are millions of species taking habitat in tropical rainforests that range from the tiny weaver ant to a black caiman. One trip to the rainforest and you won't be disappointed.

Everything you see is part of a food chain/web. All the different kinds of species you see either eat or are being eaten. Also, all the biotic and abiotic factos around you do something to keep the biome functioning. You can find biotic factors such as the antelope and bat. You can also find abiotic factors such as rocks, dirt, and rain.

tamarin Monkey interactions

  • Competition - Tamarin monkeys eat things like spiders, beetles, and butterflies. Their competition are monkeys like the Capuchin monkey who also eat the same thing.
  • Mutualism - you can find mutualism between tamarin monkeys and eagles. Sometimes eagles will prey on the tamarin monkey's competition

  • Parasitism - you can find parasitism between Tamarin Monkeys and ticks. You can often find ticks taking habitat on a tamarin monkey.

Another great thing about the tropical rainforest is that you can go any time of the year. The climate stays fairly the same all year round. The only seasons there can pretty much be classified into rainy and rainier. This makes your vacation adapt to your needs which is a total advantage.
