DIFFERENCES

• There is a negative and positive tropism.
• For an example geotropism is negative if the plant grows away and if it grows towards the earth it is positive
• The difference between stimuli and stimulus is that stimulus is multiple.

GRAVATROPISM/GEOTROPISM

• Plants response to gravity
• It is positive if the plant grows toward the earth/gravity
• It is negative if the plant grows away from the earth/gravity

CHEMOTROPISM

• Plants response to chemicals
• Positive: fertilizer helps the plants grow
• Negative: weed killer it kills plants

PHOTOTROPISM

• Plants response to light
• positive: plans move near the light
• Negative: if plants move away from light or don't have light

THERMOTROPISM

• Plants response to temperature change

HYDROTROPISM

• Plants response to water

THIGMOTROPISM

• Plants response to touch
• Like a vine trying too grab something
