Gravitropism

Gravitropism is a plants response to gravity. This can be a positive or negative response. The roots will grow with gravity and the plant will be growing against gravity

Chemotropism

Chemotropism is a plants reaction to chemicals. This can also be a positive or a negative response. Fertilizer would be positive and weed killer would negative.

Phototropism

Phototropism is a plants response to light. Plants always grow towards the sun/light source. So if the light source is on the right the plant will lean over to the direction of the light source

Thermotropism

Thermotropism is a plants response to temperature. Most plants grow better in medium heat. If the plant gets to much heat then it will shrivel up and die but if it's to cold it will do the same thing.

Thigmotropism

Hydrotropism is a plants reaction to touch. This is again another one that can be a positive or a negative response. For example a touch-me-not plant will close its leaves when you touch it but, when a vine touches an object it start to grow on it.

Hydrotropism

Hydrotropism is a plants response to water. Most plants will grow towards water. The roots will reach out until it reaches water. So they mostly live by river banks.
